An exciting day for Venhomes LLC as their President, Jose L. Ocque is named one of OKC Biz magazine’s Top 40 Under 40.
Jose moved to Norman, Oklahoma in 2000. He graduated with a degree in Construction Science with minor in Architecture from the University of Oklahoma in 2005. After graduation, Jose worked nearly eight years for a homebuilder in the metro area before developing the plan for Venhomes LLC. Awards for his hard work are not new to Jose. In 2010 and 2011 he was named Home Creations Builder of the Year.
Jose teamed up with John Cresap and Cresap Capital LLC to develop Venhomes LLC, and since then Jose and his team have continued to build a more beautiful Oklahoma City area.
Jose is a member of the Central Oklahoma Home Builders Association and a Member of the National Association of Home Builders. He is been also involved with Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers Big Sister of Oklahoma, the American Heart Association and the Leadership Oklahoma City LOYAL program. He is currently a mentor at Positive Tomorrows of Oklahoma City

Tip #1 - Caulk all Cracks and Holes
The impact of cracks and holes can be equal to that of an open window, so caulk all leaks. Expanding foam works great for sealing around cracks and pipes. While gaps around windows and doors can be filled with adhesive foam weather stripping.
Tip #2 - Cover Windows, Vents and Doors
For an extra heat loss protection, try applying a clear insulating film to windows. Cover or close off heating vents and doors to rooms that get little use.
Tip #3 - Change Filters and Check for Problems Outside When it comes to the furnace, filters should be changed every month.
For maximum efficiency, try the pleated kind they capture more dirt.
Tip #4 - Keep Your Water Heater Warm
Help reduce heat loss by keeping your hot water heater warm and cozy with an insulation blanket.

Outside, remember to check for missing or cracked shingles and for any buildup in gutters.
